Try to discuss and work out the problems in your past before going back together-if nothing changes then you will not succeed. Once these problems have been resolved or compromised on then they need to stay in the past-no more bringing it up in arguments. Look at this as a brand new relationship as if you met a different man and wanted to marry. Ask yourself all the same questions you would before marrying a different person. Go into it with the idea in your head that it will work and if can if you both work hard at treating each other well, meeting your responsibilities and resolving differences before they become huge!! Good Luck to you.

I think the first thing to do is take things at a slow pace. You guys spent some time apart so perhaps you have some re-adjusting to do. You might have to get to know each other again. So dont rush into anything quick, no big decisions for now.

Well you guys should talk about everything that has gone on since you have been apart, and if you have kids that are young and still in there teens then definatly take it slow. If you have kids in college or university they maybe a little shocked but you should also take it slow. If you don't have any kids at all then have fun!

Ask yourself if you are doing the right thing, there must have been a reason you split in the first place. Then take it slowly, get to know each other again. Good luck :-)

get some good running shoes, because once you remember why you left, youll need em. the memory does a funny thing. it masks all the bad memories and keeps the good ones handy in order to keep us sane. the bad memories will return. you made decisions before, stand behind them and trust yourself. all that was bad before will be amplified tenfold. now youve thrown 'whos she slept with since i left her' into the mix.
