i know i know i knowwww right! rabits are sooo cute... i mean come on eat dogs! why rabits they never bite!

Well, think about it. If you were in the middle of the dessert and all there were was dessert rabbits to eat, would you rather eat that or nothing and die. It is a source of food. I personally don't eat rabbit but I can understand why some people do. I think that it would be ok to eat wild rabbit, but tame pet rabbits would be sad to eat.( and they wouldn't taste very good either)

Why do people eat Cows, Sheep, Chicken, Goats or any other type of animal? It's called survival and it's the natural food chain.
There is a huge difference between a "Fryer" and cute little lop eared bunny that people keep as pets. Fryers usually average about 20lbs are are bred specifically to be slaughtered.

No its not. Rabbits breed like rabbits and are no where near being endangered. Rabbit has been human food for hundreds of thousands of years. Your concerns should lie in the extinction of endangered species. We are headed for the next great mass extinction and humans are the cause, and we may be on the list in the future!

People also eat chickens,geese,turkeys,horses, cows, pigs, cats, rats, elephants,and sheep before they are shorn,...but the tastiest of them all is a Uni-corn.
Do you wear makeup or use hairspray? What do you think they do their testing of the product on??for allergic reaction to the eyes or skin....rabbbits.
New Drugs are tested on rabbits.
These rabbits when they die are thrown on a rubbish heap or incinerated.
Besides I know you continue the tradition by eating a chocolate one every easter.

I've personally never had it but I assume people like to eat it because it tastes yummy.
Put things in prospective...people eat ALL kinds of animals. What makes the rabbit so special? :) lol Sorry if I burst your bubble.

Why do you want to lock yourself into eating only 3 meats? Some animals are preditor and some are prey. Preditors are are long-lived and slow breeders, (like people) and prey are social, short-lived and breed at a high rate (like rabbits).

is it sad that rabbits should die or that people should starve. if rabbits are one of the only sources of meat in an area then of course people will eat them. it is sad but remember animals should never come before a persons life.

The same reason people eat beef, prawns, fish and chicken. Just because they look "cute" to you, does not mean you don't have to eat them. Do you think you look "cute" to them? Of course not! They are not little toys.
Personally, I think squid look amazing and are incedibly intelligent creatures. I cannot beleive anyone would want to actually eat one!

Because they are tasty. Some people actually hunt for their food and rabbits are over abundant.
Why is it sad, because they are cute and fuzzy where chicken and fish are not??
