I would just first like to say that emo's are NOT freaks and are NOT self absorbed...they are people.. A lot of my friends are emo = emotional....and i have been called an emo. Some of them do NOT self harm, not all of them are constantly depressed...They just have deep feelings and are more sensitive than most. They love there friends as i do && will cherish and appreciate them more than most. They do cry a lot, thats because they care. I grant you some of them wear lots of black all the time and cry all the time and self harm, but people shouldn't pidgeon hole them. there are variations of everything...i mean if someone wore tracksuits all the time...and listened to rave does that make them a chav...they might just like to wear tracksuits and just happen to like rave.
btw i'm not havin a go at you or anyone else i'm just makin my point.

Emo = Emotional
Their is no spesific rule for being an emo
its a gerne of music nothing more
but maybe emotional ,listens to emo music and wears black alot

When they cut their wrists. Goths and punks don't do that. If a goth starts cutting himself then now they're emo.

I'd love to know too. I't can't be wearing black cause I wear black to look thinner. Don't know about the other stuff
