Well lets see,
Bart Simpson is 10 , in the 4th grade so I guess that means he would be in year 6 (I think) so :
11 , grade 5 = year 7
12 , grade 6 = year 8
13 , grade 7 = year 9
Summary: 7th grade = year 9 in England.

Year 6. You see, for you, grade 1 is Reception, or Foundation, or year 0. The first year. So, whatever grade you say, take one away. So, for you, I'm in grade 10, or year 9.

7th grade is Year 8 in England (add one to the 'grade' to get the 'year')... Year 13 is our final year (where we are 17/18) and is therefore Grade 12...
Hope that makes sense... lol...
