The word adrenaline means of something distressful and which different from word excitement means enjoyment of something pleasant.

So why this guy could like this adrenaline, for example bungee jumping ( say it's different bungee jumping, ie. the bungee jumping site have 5% chance to die as a fact ). And this is what I'm talking about, not if you like to ride in roller-coaster. I think the latter we all love it from time to time.

Are these guys could convert adrenaline as excitement? ?

Bungee jumping and riding a roller coaster have about the same effect on our brains' chemistry. They raise the level of adrenaline. Cigarettes have the same effect. Which is why most of the smokers are sedentary people. Anyway, the brain chemistry is different for each one of us, and we find different methods of balancing it.
And it works like an addiction. Once you have raised your adrenaline higher than usual, you'll need the same thing or something bigger to raise it to the same level. Like when you need more drugs when you're addicted, you need more bungee jumping once you've done it. Usual stuff doesn't make it for you anymore.

Adrenaline is a hormone which is released by the adrenal gland. This gland regulates the fight-or-flight response, metabolism, and sexual desire (especially in women). Thrill seekers seem to have a need for a high level of stimulation . When they participate in a risk taking activity this endocrine gland releases adrenaline. Some think this need is a general personality trait . Others believe these thrill seeking individuals actually become adicted to their own adrenaline.

There are two aspects of this question. Adrenaline is the fight or flight mechanism which gives us the extra push to run away from a bear chasing us, that is not something I would seek. The adrenaline I get when I run a horse is like love...
