Hi everyone who reads this. Well, it happened, my step-Mom married my now step-dad. And shockingly, it hasnt been doing too bad! We're all doing well. Anyways, my birthday's next week... SWEET SIXTEEN! WOOHOO! lol. Anyways I asked my step-parents if I could try contacts. (I have glasses. I don't have them real thick kind I have thin intelligent-looking glasses). My parents said I could, and I really want to so I'm gonna try them! But, what are the price ranges they could be, and do they hurt or anything, and what is your general opinion on contacts? Do you like them better than glasses or do you think they're a waste of time? What do you think of contacts? Well please answer honestly and serious answers only, please. Thank you. Oh, sorry, and one more thing I don't know if you guys need to know this or anything but I have really really REALLY dark brown eyes.. sometimes they look black! You guys don't thinks I should get colored contacts, do you? I wasn't planning on getting them.

I have really dark eyes, and I have green contacts and glasses. If I'm too lazy to put in my contacts, I'll just put on my glasses, but contacts really help during things where you move around a lot. They don't hurt for a month or so, but they wear out and you need to get new ones. I'm not sure the price range, but it differes a LOT whether you have astigmatisim or want colored contacts- never get colored contacts if you have that, because it will definatly cost way too much.
My green contacts make my eyes look kinda hazle-ish, but you can really notice it. My eyes sound the same as yours.
Contacts are really good, but I hate when they wear out. That's the only downer to it. And the fact that it takes you a little bit of time, not more than 5 minutes even if you are slow, to take them in and out, but I'm kinda impatient! *laughs*

hey there, i wear contact lenses too :D You need to practice hygiene if you want to wear contact lenses. You will need to watch the contact lenses everyday even though you did not even wear them for the day. Without proper care, your eyes will be infected with virus and if serious, it would lead to blindness! Try not to wear your contact lenses for more than 8 -10 hours as this will cause your eyes to be very dry. You can actually get eye drops for contact lenses at any pharmacy to prevent your eyes from getting too dry. The price ranges from around US120 depending on the brand you want. Frankly speaking, i think you should not get colored contact lenses because i think being natural brings out the best in you. Natural is new beautiful (:

yes you should get contact colored like a hazel color
