I love the dixie chicks and Take Me Away is prolly one of their best songs in my book >.< I dont see anything wrong with speaking your mind....regarding their comments about George W. Bush.

I liked them until their hissy fits following their comments about Bush. I couldn't care less about their political opinions, but they really didn't know their fans. Country fans tend to be very patriotic and they should have been aware of that. They kept whining about how they have the right to their opinions - which they, of course, do - but so does everyone else. Apparently it was more important to offend much of their fan base than to play music. That's what I don't like - when people find it necessary to cram their political views at you - no matter what they are and no matter the time and place. Know your audience!

I like them and even supported them when they said they were ashamed of Bush being from Tx. I feel the same way.

No they have good music but I do not support their views I guess they really do support terrorism and to me they should be taken to the nearest border and stripped of their us citizenship
