well, as a mackem born and bred......a n other team and us ;)
our 3 games before barnsley were against the team at the top at that time, brum/derby/wba....we took 7 points from a possible 9, 2 games away from home.
us and wolves have been the form teams for a few weeks now and i got a feeling our game with them will go a long way to deciding 2nd place, very tight at the top but wba have slipped, cardiff are pulling back, preston are moving up, stoke are on a good run i think derby might bottle it.
as thing stand i would take brum as champs (although they were poor against us and are struggling with 1-0's, but they are getting the points) 2nd place has to be us or wolves, whoever does not get 2nd should get promoted through the play offs.
at least, i bloody hope so
