Can anyone tell me anything about the Gillette company? Like the ownership, management, personnel, economic outlook, comparisons to other companies, future products, target audience, trends, growth, company ethics... stuff like that!! ok? thanxxx!!!

Well it was founded by King Camp Gillette (lol yes his name was King Gillette) in Boston, 1901. He had interesting political and economic views. He didn't invent the safety razor but he made it cheap. By 1918, when the US went to war, Gillette was contracted to provide field-razor sets to the whole army. Gillette marketed under a number of different brand names e.g. braun (since 1984) , duracell (since 1996), and oral-b (since 1967). However Gillette was bought by Proctor and Gamble in 2005 so technically it doesn't exist anymore. Now P&G is the world's largest personal care products company.
