When I was in high school, I used to judge the other kids whose parents make more money then us common folks. We always assume they're spoilt brats, and knows nothing about struggles and hardship like us all. Partially, my thoughts were right, but now that I'm all grown up, I meet many people from all walks of life and it seems that rich kids have their own struggles too. I learnt my lesson well (though a little late in life), that we should never judge people.

First of all... unless you are really really rich and it shows or really really poor and it shows... how else would they know how much money your parents make? It really depends on what kind of friends your looking for... if you're looking for friends who just want to take a ride on the money train... then being rich could be an advantage. But if you're looking for friends who are going to stick with you and be there your whole life... than they really wont care how much money you have. Dress how you want and don't be afraid to be yourself. Highschool doesn't count for much of anything... some of the people who thought they were the sh** in my old highschool... now almost 3 years later are working at my local mcdonald's. So find some friends who like you for your personality and that you can have fun with and focus on school... getting into a good college is more important than you probably know right now.

Well in a sense, yes and no. When other teenagers come over to your kids house. ( your house) if it is really nice and clean and has lots of cool things inside, then yes they will judge that. If it is a trailer or a small run-down looking house then they will make fun of him of course.

Also with the clothes that your kid wears or if you are the teenager then the clothes that YOU wear of course you will get judged on. Your clothes dont HAVE to be the "name" brand they just have to look clean and the shoes should be named brand.

Hope this helped.

No, not at all! Maybe if you live in Beverly Hills or some rich community, then they probably would judge you on how wealthy your parents are.

sad to say, but I think a lot of them do...which is totally wrong. They should judge you on who you are as a person.
