Well, don't allow your friend's behavior to cause you to act the same way. Always be a real friend and seek advice from your Mom and Dad. Also, you can call a time out from your friend. Give your friend some space and time away from you.
Take this time to make even more friends! Remember your Mom and Dad are always your top 2 friends. Talk to them about everything and when you are on the Internet have Mom and Dad there with you. There are people on the Internet who may say they are your friends but are not...even if they say they are police officers or ministers at a church. Always have Mom and Dad with you when you use the Internet even when you read this answer have Mom and Dad right by your side and discuss this answer with them...OK!

either u are 12 or not is not the issue here. if ur friend is being mean, then she is not acting as friend. she is acting like a stranger. tell her straight to her face. if she doesnt realize it yet and dont change after that, leave here. its normal to have problems in a relationship, but being mean doesnt help at all. if she has some concerns, then she should seat down with you and discuss it, after all you are friends. she may also be having some problems outside ur friendship that she has difficulty to handle it that she becomes unaware of her behavior towards you. best thing to do is seat down wit her.

Just go straight ahead and tell your friend that you dont like how he/she is treating you. The more you avoid in telling him/her the longer it will continue. Dont be afraid to loose them as a friend because you call them on it. If they get upset and all, well its what they deserve for being mean to you. If they decide not to stay friends with you, perhaps you are better off w/out them.

You don't have to keep spending time with this so-called friend if she's treating you bad. Find nicer people to hang out with and leave the meanie alone.

Age doesn't matter, I'll say what I say to everyone who complains that their friends are being mean to them: If they're being that mean to you, they're not really your friend.
