If I purchased a pink psp from the UK will it be compatible with the technology in the US? I know I would have to purchase an ac adapter converter.

Yes. All games are region free and it work with all PSP. However, UMD movies are not region free and only with the PSP of the same region.

Yes because the PSP can play all PSP games, it doesn't matter where the game was made or what language the game is in. So no need for an adapter converter, it is all fine

Possibly. And I think Sony is an international company so it could work. But to be safe stick to the UK items.
