I still have the same values. We all, to a certain extent, keep what we are shown in childhood as our values in adult life. This may be part of the problem society seems to be going crazy. Kids now are not around their parents as much as some of us were and without guidance, they act out.

Very interesting question. I would say "yes"! As a teen I was much more liberal in my thinking and ran a bit on the wild side. After having children, my values changed dramatically. I did not drink at all during pregnancy and it continued while my kids were small. I definitely became much more conservative in my thinking as I tried to be a good example to my children. My kids are now mostly grown and I find life experience has made me fairly conservative throughout the years with moments of liberal thinking (you can't help reverting now and then).

Yes, I definitely think becoming a parent and a homeowner and tax paying citizen, changes your perspective on life.

good question. Well, I do believe that the same values are in me for the most part. However, I have developed a few new ones and have also gotten rid of a few old ones over the years.

I dont think mine have changed. I grew up with great parents who taught us so much about life, respect, morals and so forth and I hope that I can in turn teach my own children the same way. I grew up knowing my parents were my parents not my friends and if they hurt my feelings or told me no oh well and I have the same view w my kids

My values are essentially the same as they were when I was young. (I'm 57)
Through the years, I've gone through many events that have caused me to reevaluate my priorities, and re-value what is important in life.
The material things lose their value as we begin to realize what is most important:
family, friends, health, loving and giving of oneself, self-confidence....I could go on and on...

some of them i do but some of them have change over the years. one of the things is my patience. years ago, i used to be probably the most patient person around but now, if i have to wait a long time for something, it gets on my nerves bad. good luck.
