If you have paid the registration and the sticker was not sent to you, you need to contact the DMV.

You may get pulled over for not having a sticker. Explain that it is paid but you never received the sticker. The officer can check on that. They are usually pretty leniant, especially if it was just due.

Here in canada you will get a $90.00 ticket and a warning, if you get pulled over again without a sticker your in big trouble

An unregistered vehicle is a citable offense. If a police officer pulls you over, he/she can fine you for not having your car registered.
