I say, what an absolutely tip top machine the Harley Davidson is. By jove, those Americans really know how to be build motorcycles don't they. I had a spiffing afternoon riding through the estate on my Porsche V-ROD, golly, what fun it was! All my pals have them.Wiffy likes to ride his out on a sunday afternoon and watch all the jealous proletariat drooling over his iron horse. Soggy sometimes comes out with me for a ride, an afternoon spent putt-putting through the Downs is absolutely top hole.Soggy and i have got all the gear your know, oh yes, my butler says we look "really mean" when we're all togged up in our H-D gear. Anyway,TTFN, i must go and kill a few foxes (on the QT of course), toodle pip, what! Lord Halfwit
PS-Chill out!!..surely the Harley dealership doesn't take your sense of humour as well as your life savings? :-)

By golly, I do love "smashing" them with my rice rocket.

Honestly, HD's are the biggest load of over-rated cr*p the motorcycling industry has every created. Talk about good marketing. The pretty tassles on the 'bars is about the only thing on them that doesn't rattle or fall off!

Rubber-side-down. :D

Pity the populace hasn't taken a liking to the V-Rod... Harley finally comes up with something that is 25 years ahead of its other bikes (read as 80s technology), and all the "real" Harley guys don't like it. And the engine designed with input from Porsche? I believe the exact input Porsche offered up was, "stop building crap!" And of course the standard response to anyone that tells it like it is about Harleys is, "you can't afford one". Any monkey that can fog a mirror can finance a Harley - why do you think there are so many on the road?

YES HD DID IN FACT MAKE A 125cc Two Stroke! Google it, do your homework, get your facts before answering a question! Idiots! The design for the single cylinder engine was taken from Germany after WWII. We got it, Russia got it, and so did the Brits. BSA lugheads! Anyway, I happen to know where there is a 1951 HARLEY DAVIDSON 125cc is for sell that RUNS!!!!! However, does need a battery. BTW they made the 125cc 3hp engine for over a decade! They as in HARLEY DAVIDSON!

Yes, they look smashing. But what's more smashing is to see this horde of Harley Davidsons drivng down the street. I shall never forget that experience when I visited the States many years ago. I was in Hoover Dam when that happened. Definitely a unique American experience for a tourist.

I say, good show old bean. I concur that the colonies are doing a fine job indeed when it comes to the manufacturing of motor cycles. Although, I ride a Triumph myself here in Lancashire.

Cheers!

Certainly is old chap, an absolutely splendid creation.

Lord Smythe's daughter Bunty has one you know - fancy a lass owning a motorcycle, surely it's not safe to ride side-saddle?

no doubt bout it harley is hot. and when you couple it with porche technology you have one extreme bike capable of one hell of a ride. but... i am old school. western style bikes are the creme of the crop. when you lean back on a pair of ape hangers and hit the throttle, well it just doesn't get any better thats why i had mine modified. chop, drop , and leaned back.later ( its a good sunny day, gone riding)

Those Brit's were sure happy to see those Harleys roll in when Hitler was kickin' their @$$.I see the types of weinnie bikes they ride over there .It is real impressive to see how fast they pedal to get alittle more speed up.
