I wonder what that's like? pretty annoying I can imagine, there was a kid at my school called spencer tracy, what were his parents thinking of?!

I knew a lad called Jesus Christian, - He carried it off pretty well. Liked people to call him Just "Jees!"

A few years down from me at school was Alice Cooper. From what I recall, her parents were likely never to have encountered the celebrity of that name, or his music, although their daughter would have arrived after he got famous.
I also used to work with a Howard Jones, but he had prior claim to the name over the pop star.

My name is Darren Jordan - the same as the black newsreader on the BBC. It took me by surprise when I first heard "And now the news, with Darren Jordan." I thought a camera was going to pop up through the floor.

Yes, just a few. I had a blind date some time back. We met at a public restaurant. I asked her how I would know it was her.
She gave a brief description and said, oh you will recognize me. If you have ever seen or met Reba McIntyre, well this woman was her twin and I have a good eye. Wherever we went people would stare at us and one even wanted her autograph, it got to be a pain being starred at all the time.

I went to school with a kid named Sherwyn Williams. The poor guy is black and my school was almost completely white. He took a pretty bad ribbing but he was a really nice guy.

Yea, Kenny Rogers but I knew this guy who looked like Kenny too and that had to be worse because no matter where we were somebody was always saying hey, there's Kenny Rogers.

I had a client named Jessica Simpson. it was wierd calling her that everytime i saw her. and I wanted to say jessica simpson, not jessica. strange. however, her parents prob didn't know that there was another one out there who would be famous one day, because she was about the same age.
