but our way of relating with society is different?.
I've often thought about this and would appreciate your opinion.

If you've thought about this a lot, it would have been nice if you had shared some of that thinking, so what you're suggesting would be clearer.

But, no, our minds aren't all the same -- in many ways, of course; we all have a lot in common.

But, for instance, some people are more language-oriented, others more visually-oriented, others more body-oriented.

Many are combos of these -- but we aren't all the same in this way.

Another way we aren't all the same is response to newness and change.

People range from those who love newness and change for itself, no matter what, are drawn to it, go out of their way for it, to; at the other extreme, people who don't, who hesitate when confronted with newness and change, maybe resist it, take their time with it, and so on, and generally much prefer the familiar to the new.

There are other ways, but those two spring to mind.

Oh, yeah, when you think of people's different aptitudes -- I couldn't create music (in the sense of inventing a tune) if my life depended on it.

To others, they just do it, some can't NOT create music.

Or math aptitudes, or nit-picky-detail-oriented people, and people who have no aptitude or patience with detail.

Of course, you may have had something else in mind altogether. Can't tell.

If we had to teach our infants how to supple milk when born - all of our infants would die.
Also, embedded in your mind is the ability to recognized smile, sadness and much more on the human face - it is the same in every infant on earth.

Studies have found children that display shyness cannot recognize the basic facial expressions that are suppose to be embedded in our minds . Shyness is universal. They found that if they hold up pictures of different facial expressions and teach the shy children what they mean - the children lose their shyness.

So, for all the encouragement that you gave someone that is shy - all the words of wisdom that you have come to believe or heard from someone else. Did it ever occur to you about the fact that embedded in our minds (this is true to everyone around the world - culture, nationality, religious beliefs) is the ability to recognize the human expressions? That if basic recognitions of facial expressions is altered or missing that it could be a living hell for that person? It would be like everyone they look at is speaking a different language with their face.

See, are minds are all the same (unless there is a birth defect or injury) if not, we would not be able to function. As for beliefs, rational and all the crap we reason - most of it is based on random thoughts of ignorance.

How many times have you changed your mind about something? Yet, you think and reason it to make sense to you. You can reason anything to make sense.

The real question is - "Is your mind's thoughts based on ignorance or truth with understanding?" That is the only real difference between humans - ignorance or truth with understanding.

Humans couldn't scratch their butt if they had to reason it out. So, be thankful for the embedded instincts in our minds of how to do certain things.

The mere fact that humans think that their minds our different than other humans is based on ignorance.

Basically all minds are the same . Every one want to be a good human being atleast in thought which springs from the mind . But our actions and reactions are different under different circumstances . Our behaviours are decided by the situations.

I think it likely that our minds have exactly the same tendencies, but in different proportions. It is the value of each tendency, both individually and in realtion to the others, that decides how our personality functions. So not only our relationship to society, but our relationship between different aspects of ourselves are different.

I think our minds can be very similar...but our values and beliefs could be remarkably different?

For example...there are individuals who would never assault, hurt, rape or maim another human being because they don't believe in violence (in any form). And there are others who will go against their principles in order to stay alive!

Our minds are individual , you know people that have no compassion, others that care for others more than themselves. That inner voice we hear is different, Individual to us all.
