Are you sure that question is correct?

The only two countries in North America north of Mexico are the USA and Canada.

The only other option to make three is Greenland, but that is a dependency of Denmark and is legally part of Europe, not North America.

The closest territory to the North American continent, other than Canada and the United States, is St. Pierre-Miquelon, a territory of France. But like Bermuda, Bahamas and Greenland, it is not a contiguous part of North America. If islands are to be "considered" part of the continent, one might argue that Siberia is part of North America, a large "island" 60 miles from Alaska.

2 out fo 3 are easy and not subject to debate, USA and Canada.

Many islands are considered to be part of the North American continent. Two islands part of North America and north of Mexico are territories of other nations. Greenland is a self governed territory of Denmark and Bermuda of the United Kingdom.

Readdressing my answer, it would be 5 countries north of Mexico and part of the North American continent.
Add Denmark, United Kingdom and as someone else here mentioned but I missed France.

Sounds like a trick question.

Greenland -- Danish territory - not member of UN
Bermuda -- British commonwealth - not member of UN
Saint-Pierre and Miquelon - territory of France, not member of UN

Those are the only ones that are obviously north of Mexico and wholly contained in North America:

The United States, Canada and Greenland. I'd never have guessed Greenland!!! Thanks again to Wikipedia. My gut instinct would have been to say "Labrador, and get your map updated out of the cold war.!"

To poster #1's comment -- Greenland is indeed politically part of Europe, but is physically part of North America.
