If your looking for proof of ghosts, and you come across one, Why in the world would you be afraid of it? "Most Haunted" tv program has the worst bunch of Ghost reserchers I have ever seen. There looking for ghosts, and when they find one, they get all scared........ Never seen a group of people looking for Sharks act this way when they find a Shark.

I have had the same thinking for a while. You think they would get used to it and not be surprised or scared anymore.

Well, I think a lot of them have probably never actually seen one before, so the first time they do it scares them...most of those shows I think are faked anyway, so the reactions you see are just acting for the cameras.

Probably because they are aiming for ratings rather than anything else. If they started laughing when they saw a ghost, I bet their ratings would go down. If they acting business-like, their audience would fall asleep.

I think it's all summed up by the word 'Show'.
They do it for the 'entertainment value'.
I wonder how many of those shows are just set ups with clever lighting and special effects...

because we all know that sharks exist, don't we? ghosts are a different matter. it's soemthing we don't fully understand, and that's why it interests us, also, people are most afraid of what they don't understand.
