That he's human in name only, because he has neither head nor heart.
It simply isn't true that terrorist want to kill non-believers.
Before this war, the reasons they hated us were our support for the illegal brutality of Israel, and our support of other brutal and oppressive governments.
Now, they hate us most for illegally and immorally invading and destroying Iraq, for the murder of hundreds of thousands of innocent people, and the torture and rape of tens of thousands more.
Mostly.
Yes, Bush has no conscience. None. Nada. Zip.
Being an ignorant, arrogant moron, he thinks that saying and wishing make things so.

Bush was told even before the invasion of Iraq that he would need at least 300,000 US troops. Well he has about half that amount in Iraq right now, which isn't enough to win, but he's thinks if he sends in 20,000 troops here & 8,000 there that they will be enough to win but it still won't come close to the 300,000 that he needs to win. Bush is just sending in whatever he's got left and praying for a miracle that will never come.

I totally agree.
Not everyone wants to be or should be like us. They do see us as infidels on their sacred land and they don't want us there. The especially radical one will do whatever is necessary to get us out of there or kill us whichever comes first.
Interestingly they had no problem with us going after Al Qaeda and Bin Laden in Afghanistan and Pakistan which have fewer, if any sacred lands. Besides they don't like OBL either except for their freedom fighters who want us out.
They want to live in the 14th Century and I say let them. With a concerted effort we can produce alternative energy sources that are renewable. The research and development along with the manufacture of equipment and devices to make that happen will put Americans to work and will help us sell the technology and equipment to other countries so they don't have to buy Arab oil eithr.

He may have no conscience. I caught an excerpt of one of his speeches the other day, and he said, "This war started on my watch, but it's gonna end on yours".
I also heard him say that "...if we get our troops out of Iraq, they (the terrorists) will come over here".
I know he's doing what he THINKS is right, but then again, he's a bumbling idiot.

There is a good chance he is. Most Americans do not want this war. After 9/11 everyone was afraid to look un patriotic if they spoke out against the president. Now it's too late. I think it is important for the Middle Eastern peoples to know that we understand.

Just like the terrorists, there is no reasoning through an answer here with the likes of you! It is patently obvious you have your mind made up. If we pull out of Iraq, as you would condone, what if the situation worsens????

So I guess we should just ignore them and maybe their hatred will go away. Maybe they'll say, "Gee, thanks for pulling out of Iraq...we're gonna be nice to you now...we promise, no more 9/11."
Please, get your head out of the sand.
