What should the bills do at the running back position?
The bills have traded Willis McGahee to the Ravens for 3 draft picks , which I am happy for becasue he did not want to play in B-Lo and didnt run hard at all.

So now what is going to happen at the rb spot.

There are a few options trade a few draft picks to move up in the draft and get peterson, pick up a free agency rb and draft a rb in the middle rounds, and in both of these situation keep or let go of back up Anthony Thomas, who is also in free-agency, but net testing the market.

What do u think and what rb's would u choose

Thanks

The Bills need to get a RB fromn the Draft. Dillons isnt getting any better and Anthony Thomas could be a option but I have other plans. In the draft and who I have in mind is a underestimated RB. He is good but since the a QB on his team took all the hype he didnt get much credit. Antonio Pittman is a great match for the Bills. He matches what the Bills need. Pick up Anthony and Pittman because the teams with 2 star running backs always have success and need i say the Bears(Thomas Jones, Cedric Benson) and Saints(Deuce McAllister, Reggie Bush). The Browns are going to get Peterson and having Jamal Lewis they will be a threat. Antonio Pittman from OSU and he is not a 1st rounder. Get some defense in the 1st round and Pittman 2nd.

Follow me on this one, stick with Anthony Thomas for now, draft someone 2nd-3rd round. I am thinking of a back like Gary Russell, took a year off at Minnesota, shared time with Lawrence Maroney and ended up with more touchdowns than him in Maroney's final year. He is a powerfull, and very quick back than many NFL teams probably forgot about because of the year off, he has been working out and will be a great NFL back. The Bills O-line is looking pretty good so far, so Thomas and Russell will fit in well.

As a Bills fan I will assure you that the Bills will NOT make the right decision because they are, the Bills. I would really like to see some big names in Buffalo because that will get us some publicity, and hopefully a spark in the locker room

GO BILLS.

They will end up probably getting a free agent or someone in the draft. I think they are screwed though. I mean sure mcgahee wasnt great, but he got it done. now they are left with the choice of an inexperienced rb or some worn out back up from another team.

I'd like us to sign Chris Brown, FA running back from the Titans, and draft a running back in the 2nd or 3rd round. IMO, there's just too much defensive talent in the 1st to pass on it(especially Amobi Okoye and Patrick Willis.) That tandem ought to be easily superior to Pimpdaddy Willis behind our much-improved offensive line.

i think they would be best served to get dillon and keep thomas as a second back...i think dillon can get the job done still, and he doesn't need to pick up big yards and make big plays, but rather just draw that eighth man into the box and allow j. p. losman to use the play-action pass to his advantage...if they can do that, then their offense should improve over the sham that it was last year

I don't think you need to worry. With the offensive line you guys have, anyone should do well. I wouldn't take Corey Dillon, though.

They should go for someone in the draft.
