My understanding is that the check for a male is similar to the check for a female. True, ultrasound is usually used initially, but if there is any question after the ultrasound they stick a small camera inside, and there's only one way to get that camera in there!. Even for the female it is quite painful.
The operation to remove a growth is also done with microtools through the same opening.

Ultra sound scan takes a lot of time.It is painless.If you are having some urinary problem ,routine test urine and medicines donot give relief then only doctors go for scan.Bladder check is common for man and woman.Hope you have not misunderstood bladder and testicles.Testicles hang outside and it is only for man and usually they are examined in strong light or by hands.

Yes. First, they did an ultrasound where they put this gel on my stomach & moved a mouse-type gadget back & forth over my stomach.
They also had me pee into this type of toilet that electronically measures the strength & intensity of urine flow.
I've also had surgery where they went up my ureter. I was unconscious, so I didn't feel anything. The next day when I pee'd, there was a minor bit of blood in my urine, but they said this was normal.

Yes when they checked me for Prostate cancer.
A probe was inserted through the penus after a shot of anathetic so I felt nothing , Scan was done of my bladder and shown to me on a TV sreen(quite a sight!)
It certainly is nothing to be scared of

it usually involves an ultrasound scan before and after urinating, they will probably check your prostrate at the same time.

yes, they stick this little pen like camera into you penis and take a look around. yes it hurst and there was some blood in my urine afterwards.

yea i had a cyto scope. and they run a tube up your you know and fill you up and then see if you drain completely. it was a little painful.
