Go to START, then SETTINGS, then TASKBAR & START MENU. A window will pop up, click on START MENU PROGRAMS. On the lower half of that window, there will be a section that says 'Documents Menu' and instructions to 'Click the CLEAR button to remove contents from the documents window and other personal history lists'.

Clicking the button will remove all the address bar contents, along with other personal contents like auto-complete search terms, etc.

Check your Windows Help section too.

:D
Good luck!

Clear your cookies, cache and history in Internet Explorer. Also do a disc cleanup.

you can hover over them and push the delete key, but that is one at a time.
You can also click on tools and internet options and choose for your browser not to remember visited pages.
Good luck
