1) You should keep the studs in for about 3 weeks minimum. This is to give the skin inside the piercing time to heal. Make sure you clean them daily (ask the piercer how to do it).
2) You shouldn't take the studs out at all for about 2 months. This is because it takes time for the skin inside the piercing hole to heal so the holes won't close up so fast. I have had my piercings close in a matter of one or two hours if I had to take them out. I usually just repierced them myself, but it all depends on how your pain tolerance is with that kind of thing. Ask someone in charge of the sport if you can use medical tape to tape the earring (Think like a bandaid for your earring- to cover it up, prevent it from hurting you or someone else, so it doesn't fall out, etc)... Most hospitals also will let you keep in earrings and such during surgery as long as you let them tape them up. I have a lip ring and had surgery a few months ago and told them I didn't want to take out the stud, because it would close up, an they just put medical tape over it.
3) If you mean the best kind of place to get them pierced, I'd say stay away from places like Claires, Ardenes, little jewellry shops. Go to a professional at a tattoo/piercing studio. Might cost you a bit more, but you can be assured of a good job. Make sure wherever you go, they take out a fresh, clean, sealed and sterilized needle right in front of you, watch them do it. Check out the credentials of the place, if you want to.
I always suggest that you don't get any piercings using a gun type piercer. They can mess up easier, and can cause crooked piercings sometimes. A needle and the "old fashioned" way is best...
Good luck!!

Well, the first place that would probably cause the least pain would be your earlobe. I'm pretty sure that you have to keep them in for 1 month. Normally people do not take them out because it could heal over in a few hours and close. The place I got mine pierced was K-mart. The best thing for you to do is loose the sport or don't get ear rings would most likely be the best thing to do. Hope this helped!

Hiya
When you first get your ears pierced you need to keep the studs they pierced you with in for 4-6 weeks 9they will tell you when you get it done)
This is because the ear needs time to adapt to having the hole there else if you take them out the body will start trying to heel the hole straight away and you will struggle to get them back in - thats if you even can.
You shouldnt take the studs out until you are over the time stated. They will close over even in a few hours it will be really hard to get back in and you risk causing infection and allsorts.... just keep the stud in it should do ok for sports as studs are only tiny.

1. you have to keep the studs in for 4-6 weeks, i had to keep mine in for 6
2. u really shouldn't take the studs out, they could and most likely will grow back in. i play a sport, (soccer) and i just got my ears pierced in the off season, why don't u try that?
3. the best place is probably a tattoo or piercing place where they do it professionally, but i got mine done at claire's and they're fine!
good luck!

I kept in my studs for a couple of weeks or months, but I can't remember which ones. The person who pierces your ears should tell you all of this, and all you have to do is ask. Well, I played softball for years and their policy on earrings was studs ONLY!! No dangles, just studs, and they were perfectly acceptable. I got mine pierced at Claire's, but I'd recommend going to an actual jewelry store who does this. Claire's was great, but other places have actual professionals. I hope I helped! <3

1. About 2 and a half months total. But no dangles for about 4. I say 2 to be sure that they are completly healed because healing time is different for everyone.
2. No. Do not remove them at all for at least 6 weeks. If you must, something else (sterile!!) must be put in it's place.
3. Best place is at a piercing/tattooing body shop. They use a hollow needle that is MUCH better than any random kiosk in a mall.
However I did get mine done a Coreys.... If you have to get them done at claires or something. DO NOT FOLLOW THEIR AFTERCARE INSTRUCTIONS. Especially if they tell you to keep turning them, wash them with alcohol, or try to sell you their brand solution (which usually contains alcohol).
Go to a body piercer to hear the best aftercare.
Basically wash them with mild antibacterial soap twice a day and DO NOT keep turning them with dirty hands!
