How about someone who is really familliar to you so you can really capture their personallity eg. a boy/girlfriend or a close friend. Hope this helps

Does the person have to be a known celebtity? If not, just draw an ordinary, generic person. That way, it won't matter so much if the drawing looks exactly like the real person or not. If you are drawing from photos, choose one that is a simple forward facing image. I don't like to draw ears, so I would find someone with medium long hair. If your person has to be a reconizable celebrity, choose a favolrite movie and go to the net for pictures. That will give you lots of options to choose from.
Good luck.

Have you thought of a self portrait? Sit a mirror upright aside your drawing paper and sketch exactly what you see. Otherwise you might think of some famous people like Elvis, Jimmy Hendrix or someone with very distinctive features that you know is recognizable. I had the same assignment in my art class and I did Debbie Harry you know- Blondy

The best thing to do would be to get a mirror. Drawing from life is better then drawing from a photo and your a free and availible model.

your best model would be yourself, since you already are familiar with your inner person.. the reason to draw someone the judge will know, celebrities and such, is because you want them to recognize the likeness... if you work from a photo you can bring it along.. you can draw yourself in the mirror too.

chose an artist, many are easily recognisable, as they don't look like anyone else, like Picasso, Salvador Dali or Andy Warhol.

Try drawing your teacher, or a famous singer, or president, or even yourself.
