Sorry m8; at 24 you have no chance. Swimmers such as Michael Phelps have got up at 5 am every morning since they were about 7 years old and you have suddenly asked on Yahoo questions whether you will be ready. I am a very fast swimmer - fastest whenever I go for a public swim but I would have absolutely no chance against Olympians. Try doing 16 laps of a 25m pool and try doing each lap in 15 seconds or under ... no .. i didn't think so.

As the team will not be chosen until just before the event starts it is possible for anyone that acheives the qualifying standard to be selected and the winner of the olympic trials is virtually certain to get in.
Go for it.

I hate to be a spoilsport, yet realistically, i do no longer think of so. in case you have in simple terms started swimming, it may well be enormously darn complicated to make the Olympics. undergo in concepts, the Olympic u . s . a . swim team is the main suitable of the main suitable swimmers interior the U.S. yet to provide help to be attentive to the certainty, in case you artwork complicated and placed all your potential into it, you will desire a raffle. you are going to be extra healthful the two mentally and bodily, and emotionally could help plenty, too. (: yet you are going to be keen to furnish way extra effective than one hundred% attempt.

Yes as long as you really train correctly. Get a trainer and go for it. Who knows, you could be the owner of a gold medal in 2012.
