Send your wife - she's her mother afterall. It seems forgetfullness is catching!! Also, the deafness must be catching or you would have realised she wasnt talking in the back of the car. If it was my mother in law I wouldnt worry as she always carries a spare witches broom!!! The question made me laugh out loud so thanks for that.

Depends really. Is your wife ok to leave her behind? If so, get your **** back home and watch the rugby! The old girl will get a ride back with the plod.

If the missus ain't too happy about the old goat being left behind, you'd better go back for her. You'll end up sleeping on the couch tonight otherwise!

Ooops! A freudian slip!
No; she'll be fine.
you could drive back for her at half time and find a pub or TV shop to watch the second half!!
Or you could ring someone else to pick her up.
Or she might not even have realised you are gone - in which case you don't have to go back yet.
What time does Bluewater close? There's so much there for her to see, she won't even miss you. She's a woman.

Isn't she?

Finish watching rugby ..then go back to find her ..if by chance you pass a local bar ...stop in to see if she is there ...if you don't find her there continue searching all the local bars ..give your sob story to anyone who will listen ..embellish as you go to get free drinks...when you are drunk enough go back to store and say I have been looking all over for you......which would be true.....I was soooo worried ...everyone worries about something ...so again no lie...are you alright dear in sign language of course.. since she is deaf ...

"80, deaf and forgetful" eh? At least she didn't forget to pick up her mother in law at the mall!!!
Two questions:
How understanding is your wife?
How important is rugby to you?
I say tape the game and go get her or you are about to lose a ton of brownie points.

Don't forget that the traffic will be getting busier now too, by the time you get back there she'll have forgotten it was you who left her behind, alternatively, when/if she does get back tell her that her shed is a disgrace, double her rent and get her to busy herself on the front lawn as a punishment for being so dim to be left behind in the first place

Forget about the rugby, get the poor lady now, or let your wife get her.
