Yes only because I hate that when others are disruptive. I paid my money to see the film too.

I put it on vibrate. Nothing worse then a ringing phone and then a conversation during a movie. I leave mine on just in case of an emergency. If I have to answer will leave the theatre.

Yes. I think it is so rude when people are text messaging and talking on their cellphone during a movie. I am 12 years old and I still know to turn off the cellphone when your in the movies. I even put my phone on vibrate in a restaruant.

Mostly I do, because it plays music whenever I turn it on or off!! But sometimes I forget to turn it off, so I just leave it because nobodys gonna need to call me anyway, especially if I told them I'm in a movie please don't disturb me! Also because I know how rude and annoying it is to hear other peoples cell phones going off, and I wouldn't want to be one of those people.

I used to turn off the ringer, and then I forgot once and it rang during "The Road to Perdition" and I was quite embarrassed. Ever since then, I just turn it off - usually somewhere between concessions and taking my seat - just to be sure.

And then I usually check it again when they show the obligatory "turn of your phone" PSA before the movie - which is a little OCD.

Yes totally. Some people just turn the bell off and the vibrator on. I'm sure they have their reasons for this, such as the probability of an emergency call.

I leave mine in the car most of the time. When I don't leave it in the car, it is on vibrate. If I turn it off, I can not see missed calls.

I always forget to turn it off until that dumb commercial that comes on reminds me. But I never really turn it off, I just put it on vibrator.
