Frigates are not too practical. I have one for the parades
at yacht Olympia. This old boy is 130 foot and does only
40-70 nauts on a good sail. The way it sits over the waves was
a battleship of lighter construction, and used extensively
by younger shipping countries until the size was established. History is good, lots of tries for loot with the
widest of markets, and still is. Though the design went back
to tall ships and two-deck cargoes. The weight of a frigate
is the most preventitive and this is the essence, if you are
not sailing around the world or long trips it will be good. I
would look at getting the rig by study, perhaps for 40,000.
Assembly maybe another 30,000 by a good designer.
Small dealers are going to be too heavy, so look into, Isuzu,
Suzuki, and Oldsmobile. I have triple 300 oldsmobile eights. They work enough to get it cruising, though it is real
unique to handle. http://www.windstream.net
Have a look at some examples on this one.

Why have a frigate? There is a boat builder in Italy who will build you a 200 foot catamaran for around $50 million, it will be about the same price!

Cheoy Lee or Folksboat or Bruce Kirby, Carl Alberg. There is a nice boat builder in the Bahamas that will lay a keel and build any boat you want.

A frigate was a ship of war, smaller than a ship of the line. It is ship rigged(3 masted with square sails on all 3 masts) with normally only one gun deck.(32 cannons approx.)
The Constitution on display in Boston is one, it is not available.

Boats are a hole in the water into which one pours money. You would have a better outcome and save money if you got a good therapist and examined the pros and cons of this wish before you act on it.
