No, but it pisses me off that they use these cheap promotional stunts to try to sell more books instead of creative and thoughtfull stories, or decent art...I used to be a big time fan. Now we have no Thor (until they bring him back, and as what), We DO have the Beast who now looks like a freaking CAT! Heck, they even killed off Galactus and brought him back without a reasonable explanation. Add to that a brief series where the Beyonder is impersonated by "The Stranger"??? My money now stays in my pocket.

Naw. Comic books are NOT for mortals. Look how they brought back Superman and Robin, to name a few. Plus they've still a movie in the works. That's GOTTA spark a few tie-in products here and there. Plus Captain America was spawned in a time of war, when people wanted an icon to pick up morale and symbolize the best the nation had to offer.....his time will come again.

Nope...every comic character ever killed has come back in some way. They will bring him back at the end of 2008-early 2009. That's when they will release the Captain America movie that they are working on right now.

Not at all...only character I have seen at Marvel truly stay dead has been the original Captain Marvel. Even Bucky came back! I can understand the use of this ploy for marketing...but Marvel is not known for sticking to continuity anymore.

Too bad, some of the deaths have been rather well done.
