My current bf said the same thing 2 me a while ago but he said he loves me but isnt sure if hes in love with me. This happend cus we got ourselves into a rut, just veging at home, not seeing friends or going out 4 meals, going 2 the movies or gigs like we used 2. Just try and find the spark in your relationship again, it help my relationship and now we couldnt be happier x

Style like you love him like your best friend in the world but you don't love him like you should a husband, a lover someone you should want to spend the rest of your life with.
This may or not be true, he is obviously feeling a little self-conscious a little insecure and him saying this is actually a big sign that he is in fact in love with you and is a little jealous or upset because he doesn't think that you share the same level of love with him.
First you have to ask yourself.... do you love him to bits, but as you would love a life-long best friend in the world, or as you would love a husband, a lover, someone you feel you would not survive without, someone you want to put all your own pleasures 2nd to. If your answer is yes to this 2nd question then do everything you can to tell your partner this and prove to him how much you love him.

He's saying you don't love him anymore.
He could be looking for a way out and trying to blame you for it.....
Look for any other tell tale signs of this, such as staying late at work, going out on the town without you, going away at the weekend 'on business'
If this isn't the case, do you need to re-think your position with him - have you changed ? - sometimes people get complacent in a relationship and it sometimes needs a boost now and again. Why not take him on a dirty weekend somewhere, doesn't have to be anywhere expensive. let him know you love him as you did before.

I think the best way to explain it it, you can love a good friend, a car , a pet...That means you care very much about it ..it is your favorite !!! But.... To be in love..... is much more intense and deep. It sounds like he thinks you care but more like a friend than a significant other. Hope that helps!

means he thinks your not fully committed to him , although like him a lot . question , is he to you ? or does he want you to do as he wishes , without question , only a stupid person would do that , ask ,find out what he wants , if he explains sensibly ok you know where you stand , what you both want is just as important and should be to each other . best of luck .

to love somone but not be in love with them is like how you feel about a family member or a friend, you love them but not in that way.

he knows you care about him and wouldn't ever want any harm to come to him....but doesn't feel you are devoted to being with just him and only him. Been there, done that. You can have one with out the other.
