Surely we are on the road to confrontation.

China acts ONLY in it's own self interest.
USA acts ONLY in it's own self interest.

Do you see a clash on the way?

I think I have seen China moving in a capitalistic way of life and I think that economically they can bury us without firing a missile, the fact of over a billion people living in China is awesome. I do not see a clash militarily but I see an economic clash of huge proportions. Can we win is up to us, we need to stop being so greedy and to start getting along better in the world. The U.S. has no room for error and must play a perfect game to win this super bowl of economy's.

No we will compete for the worlds resources. China is like The USA's store. They sell more to the USA than any other country and the USA buys more from China excluding natural resources than any other country

No, we are not on a road to confrontation. The US is China's biggest trade partner. If China decided to attack, which they won't, we could crush their economy by blockading ports and not allowing any of their goods into our country. Their economy mainly relies on trade, no wars or military.

That depends on whether or not we can find a way through which our interests coincide with the interests of China.
