It is the most awesome, natural, and most important human function in regards to our survival, yet the dried up prunes of our so-called society that have lost the ability to experience the many gratifying splendors of this wondrous natural sensation go out of their way to deny sex to those of us that can and do so enjoy it immensely...

Because tradition has made it that way. There's no real reason for it, it's just something people have done for thousands of years and so lots of people think that automatically makes it worthwhile to go on doing it without questioning it.

If you think that is sensitive try "atheist". You can be gay or lesbian and get elected to office, not an atheist. Atheists are persecuted far more than gays.
