It seems like neither women or men in the adult film industry ever wear underwear. Men may be the bigger offender of this, as women sometimes can have on g-strings, or other similar garments. When men get into a scene and "drop their drawers", you would expect to see their underwear but nope -- commando.
Anyone have any ideas?

Adult films are fantasy. The fantasy is that men are always "ready for action"; thus, underwear, boxers or briefs, just get in the way of the scene. It is considered sexy for a woman to always be wearing a g-string or thong. Unfortunately, it is realistic for men to wear condoms at all times. Yet, in porn, condoms are not always utilized, cuz it takes away from the fantasy of sex. Being, there are no consequences of unprotected sex;neither disease, nor pregnancy.

Are you kidding me? The whole point of the Porno movie is to arouse you with the fantasy of instant sex. While underwear, lingere and other undergarments can be very sexy because they create drama and foreplay before sex, they simply get in the way of the porno fantasy.

In european x films there are almost always sexy clothes during the act. if there isnt, its not european at all, or then its german. they know nothing about sexy style eighter.
I have laughed to american x films where eighter they are naked, or they wear sport top and jogging shoes. and the filming place is usually in the sun, where all the wrinkles are seen well. what a turn off..

Sometimes they do - it depends on the subtlety of the director as it can be used as part of the 'build up' The ones he go commando tend to do it, because the director is more interested in the 'act' of sex rather than any foreplay! Not that I can claim to be any sort of expert!!
