Feminism is women taking initiative for themselves, their rights and to support each other in the struggle for equality on all levels. There are men in feminist organizations, but most (if not all) were founded by women.
I don't think it matters who is running the show now, as long as it is equal, fair and free for all people because that is basically what the feminist movement is all about. (Perhaps the movement should be renamed to the "humanist movement" or something, because in that way it sounds more accurate and inclusive.)

Your initial question doesn't make any sense, "when we think of feminism, one who has never dealt with women?"
Your other question on the surface makes sense. But if men were actually funding feminist concerns, then why wouldn't the feminist agenda be one you were in love with (instead of one you detest), since it would be men running the show(which you so feverishly want)? Some feminist groups are funded only by women, some by both men and women, some by corporations, some by all of the above...this is news?

What does it matter? If a man funded projects for feminism, I doubt he'd want you looking at him saying "oh, it's a man that funded this, so goes to show you how feminist they are". Im assuming you are a man, looking forward to finding out that it was a man that funded many feminists projects, just so that you can demean the idea of feminism. The fact is you should just be educated yourself on feminism, which isn't "woman should be allowed to have equal pay", it woman should be allowed to freedom meaning, if the want to be a housewife they should be able to be on, or if they wanted to be a boxer they should be able to.

women persons and men are distinctive. distinctive, yet equivalent. Equality isn't approximately being an identical, yet rather, having an identical volume of capacity. women persons have a capacity distinctive than that of what men have, yet that capacity is purely as, properly, effectual. i think of that the venture lies in how we detect the powers. i think western society lost know for female capacity someplace alongside the line, and observed masculine capacity as in a roundabout way superior. somebody got here alongside and reasoned, "properly, if masculine capacity is superior, then why do no longer we adjust female capacity to tournament masculine capacity?" the certainty is, we'd desire to alter our perception of female capacity rather than somewhat changing female capacity. Am I making sense? I specific desire so. :P on occasion, I do think of we'd have a warped view of the two masculinity and femininty. case in point, the concept women persons must be passive, susceptible doormats without ambition. Or that men must be overly aggressive and coach no emotion. etc.

That would feed right into the paranoid thinking that misogynists have but alas this is not true. From what I read of your questions you have been hurt by a woman and now feel the need to denigrate all women. You need to stop generalizing and get on with your life. Child support used to care for children. Life goes on and you need to get some therapy and move on with yours. Being stuck in chronic bitterness will do nothing to improve your life or the life of the children that you have.

I certainly don't think men are at the top of it, although they fund feminist programs with tax dollars. Men help contribute to it with chivalrous attitudes (see: courtly love) that seem to be rather malleable and changing with the times. The basic gist for guys is, girls can do anything but you should also treat them with extra kindness and respect.

Feminism is an entirely female based movement. There are a few male supporters, but 99% are women.
This is because feminism places women above everything else. Which is why I believe it is a very sexist movement. Human rights are for humans, not just women.

The National Organization of Women was founded by women, funded by their own fundraising activities, and has never had a male leader.
