What is autofocus?

Does Nokia N80 has this feature? Does this effects the quality of the picture?

I think it means when you zoom in and out it instantly focuses instead of taking 3 seconds to go from blurry to clear.

autofocus means that u do not need to change any setting when u try to use the camera. theres no problem w/it, since u hardly need to focus a subject when using your phone. but it you do want to focus a subject, just use the navigation key.
