I like some country music mainly for some of the lyrics..but not all especially if it is whiney and twangy to much. I grew up listening to a lot of what is termed now as "classic country" in the South and still not a huge fan of that but I like some...

I like REAL country music, the traditional stuff (Hank Williams Sr., not Jr.) and the people who carry on that tradition, like the Bakersfield sound, etc. But I can't listen to a lot of the over-produced, pop-influenced stuff that passes for country music now.

Why would anyone willingly self identify as in possession of such a diminshed capacity for musical expression in public? Country music (and I am loathed to use those two words in the same sentence) is a dubious art form beyond degradation.
The bumper sticked says it and I agree that the reverse is als true. If it aint country, it aint sh*t.

Country is the best.It's almost all i listen to because it's really great and they have amazing songs.My favorites are Little Big Town and Taylor Swift. :)
