They did, they even had some video of her. Not much though. I think it was in the first season.

On the very first or second episode, they show a mini-clip about their Mom coming home from the hospital with Michelle. She has blond hair and green eyes, I think.

There was a video twice, once in the first season, where they were bringing Michelle home, and i think there was one when Michelle fell off her horse
