DST time was changed by congress back in 2005 to be changed this year to the 2nd Sunday in March and the first Sunday in November, starting this year (2007). The cell phone companies time signal will auto update the telephone networks, and there are patches for PCs, Macs, and Linux systems and you need to go out to your OS's website to get the update; of course if you have auto-update on, it would have been loaded automatically, but by the sounds of it, you do not have auto updates turned on. If you are running Win98, you have to do a manual regeidt to change this and instructions are available at MS.

Originally we had daylight savings to give the farmers more daylight hours to work the crops. Children were able to help with chores more due to their school schedule . Now, the time was moved ahead to help save on the use of electicity.
If you didn't get the patch for your computer to allow for the early time change, that probably is the incorrect time.

Don't believe anything they tell you, there is a secret _____ wing conspiracy sneaking around every household in Canada and the United States and messing with the settings of our clocks. These _______ pigs are bent on destroying Western economy by making us all late of early for work. Don't trust anyone! Your neighbor or your neighbour could be involved. If your children haven't called 853-1212, the anti-clock conspiracy network, then you will have to, quickly now, before it's too late! The ________ are watching!

No . The clocks didn't alter last night. They alter on the 25th.Check which one is wrong, look at your TV if necessary it is more likely to be your phone. Automatic time setting does not always work correctly..

If you are talking in the UK then no, it's not time for British Summer Time yet I'm afraid. Of course the date could be wrong on your computer or cell phone.
