I would turn back the clock 100 years and leave newspapers, history books and everything else the same. So people 100 years ago would know how they are setting the wheels in motion for global warming, wars, loss of rainforest and they could then take appropriate actions to avoid some of our mistakes.

This is your best answer

Oh, I like this question. I'm not sure if I'd do a whole lot. I don't say that because I'm cold hearted, but I personally feel we are all living very purposeful lives, wether we realize it or not, and I don't think there is much to be learned from an easy life. I think hardship can make a person wise and strong, and sometimes, it can break a person - but I think that broken pesron still serves purpose. They may be the inspiration for someone who will change the world. If I were in the position to change one thing, all that I can think of off the top of my head, is violence and physical suffering. I do wish I could eliminated violence, and though I wouldn't eliminate death, I don't think a Mother should ever have to lose her child, so I would do away with that.

Great question, thanks! :)

I'd make it mandatory in schools to teach our kids that we will all face difficulties in life but it is up to us as individuals to resist the urge to blame our misfortunes for our bad behavior. That we have a choice to become bitter or better. That compassion is a braver act than cruelty, that we'll have tendencies now and then to focus too much on the things that seem to be against us. And that if we entertain them and let them grow we will seriously hinder what our lives would and could be by fighting this urge/ tendency. And the people who love you will suffer also.

I would donate and spend most all my time helping children that are suffering from Cancer etc. I have seen children in a local children's hospital, with no-one at the side but a IV pole, and the nurse that come in. Their parents just leave them to be. That hurts my heart. So I would help sick children.

If it was one thing, I would banish religion from the world.
Religion has done nothing to bring the world together, in fact it causes intolerance and war. It hasn't really made us any better than what we are-it just causes us to be hypocrite's.
It has hindered progress, and kept humanity from advancement.

I realize it will never happen, but I would eliminate poverty. Poverty is at the root of so much suffering. Families fall apart, drug and alcohol abuse prevail, and crimes are committed as the uneducated poor attempt to deal with their impoverished existence. The only way I see poverty going away is thru education. People need to have skills to work and survive in our economy. Uneducated people will always be victims in our society.
