This may help;
Every so often, you'll start typing and notice that the letters that appear on the screen aren't the letters you're pressing on the keyboard.
If your keyboard suddenly seems to have a mind of its own, fear not -- this is easy to correct. Accidentally pressing the Control key and the Shift key at the time will change the layout of the keyboard; hit Ctrl-Shift (hit shift while holding down ctrl) again and you should be on your way to keyboard normalcy.
Another problem you might come across: You're in MS Word and everything you type comes out in Greek (or other foreign characters).
In the lower right hand corner of the screen, just to the left of the little icon tray, there's a tiny blue square with two letters on it. Click on that square and change the language back to whichever one you meant to use.
Also, if you press shift and alt together, you cycle through the keyboard layouts (which you can see cycling in the Word window in the bottom center). You can also turn off the auto recognition by right clicking on that same language box. http://www.clicc.ucla.edu/faq.asp?ArticleID=376

Make it a great day!

Is this a "O" as in the letter or "O" as in the number? LOL!
OK, bad joke.
I never had this, but, you may try looking in Settings > Control Panel > Keyboard
Make sure your "Input Local" set for your language. ( I have other languages on mine and if I have one selected I not expecting it comes as a surprise as to what happens, but, I know what to do).
Check the "Hardware" does it show; Standard 101/102-Key or Microsoft Natural PS... Keyboards
If there two choices change to the above. Also you can Click "Properties" and see if it say the device working properly. And you can run the Troubleshooter. Which has never done much for me, it just ask some general questions to try to find a general solution. If, you have your windows software you may be able to reload your drivers. Try to check what I said first and if it all OK, Post another question on "How to re-install my keyboard drivers" Give the type of computer (Name/Model) and what OS you have 98, 2000, XP etc. and if you have your Software. Hopefully someone can help. If you not get it fixed here.
