I didn't see much point in it either till this happpened to me.
Several years ago I had an unusual experience concerning an uncle, a distant relative who lived over a thousand miles away.
While driving my car I suddenly felt the unmistakable presence of this relative that I hardly even knew. He was more like someone I had heard about than someone I knew. It was very strange; it felt as though I was momentarily lifted right out of my physical body. I seemed to be suspended somehow beyond space and time, bathed in a love so intense It felt like I could have just disappear into it at any moment if It would have let me. It only lasted for a few seconds, but it seemed to last forever at the same time. I realize how crazy this must sound. The experience was so strong that at first I was afraid I was loosing my grip on reality. I finally managed to chalk it up to an over active imagination.
Three days later I got a call from my aunt telling me that this uncle we are talking about had gone into a coma and died the day I had the experience. It felt like ice water had been poured down my back when she told me this. I had lost any real ideas of God or faith and had become somewhat of an atheist. Needless to say this experience caused me to rethink some of the conclusions I had come to.
I feel blessed to now understand that even in our darkest confusion something loves us so much that it went out of its way to assist me and bring me back to a state of absolute certainty about Gods love for us.
During the experience it seemed like there was a vast amount of information that I was somehow allowed access to. One thing that I came away from this experience understanding beyond any shadow of a doubt was that any Idea that God is unhappy with us or would judge or allow us to be punished for any reason is simply impossible.
I can’t explain the love I felt with words. They simply don’t make words big enough or complete enough to do this. The only way I can begin to convey this love to you is to say that there was simply nothing else there. Nothing but love. No hint of judgment, no displeasure of any sort. It is as though God sees us as being as perfect as we were the day we were created. It is only in our confused idea of ourselves that we seem to have changed.
I hope this is of some help to you. Good luck. Love and blessings.
Your brother don
PS. Your hair was black when I started to answer this question, now its grey. How did you do that.

Life has many points. Life is meaningful.
If you want to "see" some of the points look at the water crystal pictures of Masaru Emoto. You will find them on the web.
Alone your thoughts and feelings you have, they have an effect on your surrounding and on the world and universe. So you have a responsibility to carry.
If we would be only matter then indeed life would not have a point. But you are not only your body. You question, you long, you experience all types of human emotions. Animals cannot be creative, animals cannot have a stand to their situation from a spirtitual point of view.
Wake up and find the soul in your body and understand that this soul will live on for ever. How could it be otherwise.
How could we if we are just material substance, feel and think above material ideas? We are only able to do that as we carry something else in us, which is from above this material sphere. It would never ever be possible to think what you think, if you would not feel that there is something else there.

First that's not you call, God decides that. When your tasks are done here on earth you will be gone, so until that time find out what is really troubling you. I felt the same way when my husband passed away 4 yrs ago, I had several issues with God,after 43 yrs together why would he take only one of us and etc. So I had to grab myself by the ole boot straps and go on, and at this point I'm not doing to bad, I still have my days but I just say this too shall pass. Good Luck and May God Bless.

Somebody having a bad day?
The point of life is to live, to love, to laugh, and to be a productive person. Your actions have a ripple effect, you affect other people and they affect you.
Our lives have been altered by the actions of those that preceded us. Some in small ways, others in huge ways. We live in houses, thanks to the ancestors that thought to build a house, we have heat, again thanks to ancestors, I could go on, but you get the picture.
You can look at the dark side of things, and feel sorry about things, that won't do any good. Try looking at the positive, and being positive. Rent 'It's a Wonderful Life" and you will see that we all touch each others life in many ways.
You may also consider contacting a mental health professional to deal with your depression.

You are absolutely correct, there is no point to any life whatsoever much less human life.
Someday, perhaps in 1,000 years, perhaps more, all humans will be dead and gone. At that point, will it matter who was elected president? How much gas costs? Whether you become a doctor, a politician, or a dog groomer? Nope
Life is here to recycle the free energy at the surface of the earth.
So do whatever the heck you want.

Dont stay relating to the life of god because of the fact truthfully NOONE knows approximately it no remember how plenty some people tend to declare to... existence is relating to the right here and now so dont seem forward to an after-existence because of the fact u never be attentive to if there is one. Do each little thing you have ever needed. in case you have a purpose I advise you carry on with it whether attempt to no longer make it an impossible one. Be a sturdy individual, discover somebody who you adore and loves you for who you're, have little ones, cool down, get a sturdy interest, excpect the worst, comprehend that some people are fortunate and a few people arent as fortunate as others. learn as much as you could approximately our international and its contents. unfold your wisdom and wisdom on your little ones.

One of the reasons that finding the point, or meaning, of life is so difficult is everyone searches for some deep answer.
It's really rather simple.
I know that I, as an individual can not change the world, but I can influence my small part of it.
May my small part of this world be a better place for my having been here.

Yes!
There is a theory which states that if ever anybody discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable. There is another theory which states that this has already happened.
