Well what started it all is the fact that people were saying that she was kicked off AI and look at her now. They were saying Simon didn't like her. Simon was saying that he did like her and the judges put her through but America voted her off. Jennifer also said that Simon didn't like her and she said look at the tapes. Well i watched it on tmz.com and they showed all the times she sang and what Simon said and true enough he always had good things to say except for once and she sang badly that time.

I think that like other contestants she is trying to separate herself from the show. People attribute her Oscar to her being on Idol - though the show did give her exposure and may have led her to a shot being in the movie, it was her talent that won her the award. Its kind of like saying Ray Romano owes his Emmy Award to Star Search because he was on that show before.
