Amazon has used books up for sale by users, and eBay is another option. I also like half.com for buying and selling books-- you can get great deals there!

Most towns also have used book stores that you can find amazing things in. The perk of doing it in person is that you won't have to pay the shipping costs, which can cancel out all the savings if you're buying online.

Local libraries will sell some of their excess books. Also, look into used book stores in your town. On the web, check out ebay
