I had an arguement with my sister, so when I left in the morning I had a rude face on or an angry face. My co-workers noticed this and thought I was being rude to them. I heard them say "oh I hate that guy." I never said a word to them, I mean jsut because someone looks pissed off dosen't mean they are angry with the person they're with. I remember back in high school, I used to do the same thing a girl was pissed off about breaking up with her boyfriend, i assumed with the look on her face she was pissed at me. I later found out I was wrong, why do you think people are like that? Is it because they are paranoid people make fun of them or hate them when they're really not?

yes that has happened to me as well, I have assumed many many times that someone was mad at me while they were mad at another person. I'm guessing people are naturally paranoid to some extent. Some times when I'm on the subway or on a bus with people I don't know, when people are talking about a person without using a name, usually people would think they are talking about them. Think about it, there's a heck of alot of people they can be talking about. Besides you shouldn't be worried about what they think. Who knows? they may not even be talking about you

I have this problem too, I guess, when I see that someone is angry or sad for some reason I automatically presume it was me who did something wrong, but I always ask, and if people tell me it's not me, I try to help them feel better.

Bc is part of human nature to make things personal. If someone gives me a look(any type of look) i do think if i am the one that i am causing it. Body language is just as powerfull as the words. At work you should be careful, is very easy to mislead people
