Or will this be held against you? My partner was banned from driving for 2 years for stupidly drink driving and still has a year and a half of this ban left. He has no other convictions. Will this be held against him when applying for a visa?

My hubby is canadian and when i took him home to australia for a holiday i got an electronic visa online,the form didnt even ask about a criminal record I'ts a visitor visa im talking about

At one time it was a sure way of getting in Australia. I do think they have tightened their applications up somewhat.

Used to be a prerequisite for entry, however I think that they are rather more particular today.

YES AUSTRALIA DOES NOT PUT UP WITH CRIMALS OF POOR PEOPLE YOU MUST WORK OR YOU CAN NOT STAY IT IS A CLEAN COUNTRY AND THEY DON'T WANT YOU THERE GET IT
