They look very black, the beautician said that they would peel in a few days and be lighter in colour but they have not. I won't go out as I feel I look silly, is there a cream I could buy to make them lighter? or has anyone got any ideas. No jokers please.

Hi i think its only you that is noticing them as your not use to them yet I dont think anyone else will notice. I dont know weather its the same with eyebrow tattoos but normal tattoos you put vaseline on them which softens the scab and then it will peel of and will defiantly look lighter.

A girl at work had this done and for the first week...she looked like a clown. (Sorry, I don't mean to offend, but they were DARK!) By the second week, they had became a lot better, and by the the end of the second week they were completely normal. This lady had virtually no eyebrows in the beginning, and she had been drawing them on anyway, so after the ink toned down she looked just like she always had - just minus the hassle of drawing in her brows!
Maybe you could try some lighter concealer for now? Or use a white eyeliner pencil to lighten them? I don't know if putting makeup on a tattoo would be a good idea, because if the tattoo gets infected you'll be in even worse shape! How about bangs?

Hi there. I can understand how you feel. You were trying to make something better and now you feel like you have made it worse!
I think that the best thing to do would be to contact the beautician that did the work and ask her advice. I am sure that you are not the only one that has had this experience. She can probably give you some tips to make them appear lighter without ruining the work that you had done. I am sure that they will be perfect with the passage of a little time. But, while you are waiting, there are probably some things that she could recommend.

Just listen to your beautician cos it will definitely peel and fade in a few days. After that, it will look very natural. Just be patient. I think u just did something which is call "eyebrow embroidery".
Do not use any products that might cause harm or distort the colours.

Like the first answer i suggest you use concealer to lighten them up, they will lighten in time, it has only been a week...give it a good 4 weeks or so.
If they don't seem to lighten, consider maybe dying your hair darker so it doesn't look so unnatural! But i must say dark eyebrows are very 'vogue' at the mo! you'll get used to them!

The only thing you can do is wait for them to heal up a bit and peel. Don't put creams or anything on them- if they haven't peeled yet, they're still healing and you don't want to mess with the healing process!
You could try a light eyebrow pencil or brow powder to tone down theb lack for a few days until they do peel...

I used to work with a girl who plucked her eyebrows out and they never grew back. She had her eyebrows tattoed back and she looked fine. Just be proud of you-because you are very special. God your creator thinks you are beautiful!!

i also had my eyebrows tattoed in september. but without knowing what you asked for and your skin tone it would be hard for me to answer question but im a black woman and i insisted on having mine tattoed in BROWN as i think black eyebows never ever look natural on anyone but if she was a good technician she would know not to do them too dark. mine have faded slightly so when i put my foundation on now its not as noticiable so i go over them with brown shadow but im happy with them when im bare faced. hope this helps.did she not test a few colours on your skin for you to choose from?

Just use a small amount of concealer to lighten the appearance.
They will ighten in time.
