An anti-sickness drug to aid latching on? How ridiculous. Disregard this 'advice'. See your midwife or health visitor if you are having problems. Latching on is about being patient and persevering and ultimately about you and baby being positioned correctly. Good luck and please don't take drugs.

try expressing the milk first and then let baby latch on. Smelling the milk will encourage baby and will start the milk so they do not spend all the time to try to get the milk started. Also hold your breast like a c shape with thumb on top and slightly have the thumb forward and hold fingers back a bit then take baby and push their lower lip down with your nipple so they open wide and then shove your nipple into babies mouth. It shounds abrasive but it really isn't. Also try a breast feeding pillow the more comfortable you are the more relaxed the baby will be. Good Luck to you and congrats with breast feeding.

I didnt use anything just persevere it took nearly 3 days for her to latch on properly you have to pinch and squish your nipple and keep shoving it in to their mouths and finally they get it they say it happens easily in books but the reality it takes some time, it will work just breath deepily and try not to panic, deep breaths help relax you then baby is relaxed. Fennel tea promotes a good milk supply. Good luck and enjoy and congratulations

don't use anything, here is what i did, put some lanolin around your nipple and areola, then lay down on one side and help him latch on. the lanolin will help your baby to grab the nipple and it will make the sucking easy for him because your breast will be lubricated.

theese tablets are for sickness, i took them for really bad morning sickness. I've never herd them being used for breast feeding, they are usually used for sickness and nausea.
