I'm in a state in the south and the wierdest slang term I've heard here but no where else is "orn't". It's like "ought not".

I'm from BC, Canada. I've used the word "skookum" for ages and didn't realize it was a local Chinook word. Skookum: big, great, awesome. That is one skookum ride you've got there.

I'm from rhode island and usaully people call drinking fountains, but we call them bubblers. Also we like,Hey lets go to tha pok,eat some grinda's.

I live in NYC. We use "brick" - very cold, "dumb" - very, "crack" - very nice. That's all I can think of right now. I don't use it that much, unless I'm around my friends that actually know what I am talking about.
