I have a half dozen kitties. They have all developed my trait of spending too much time on the computer.
They absolutely do have healing qualities. Whenever I'm feeling lousy, they alway come to cheer me up. All it takes is one purr, or a nudge.

I personally do not think so, other than that we both enjoy a good lie-in if we get a chance. She is a very devoted little kitty and follows me around like a puppy waiting for attention. She is the first one to greet me as I walk in the door when I get home from work. But she is a lovely being and heals me with her raspy kisses on my cheek and by biting my ankles to hurry me along to bed at night.

Yes, scarily enough. Except I'm not as bee-yoo-tee-ful and even-tempered!
My kitties comfort me when they know I'm sad or feeling bad. They lie next to me or on my lap and purr. The vibrations are very soothing.

She and I are similar in a lot of ways...but she's kind of whiney which I am so not. :-) Healing is simple - it's all a matter of contact; petting, her laying in my lap; it's the purring that heals. :-)

Yes, we need to loose a few pounds. She is my shadow, my friend, my campanion. We adore each other. I've never before had a cat so devoted.
